Roker pier sunday night
Hi went to roker pier sunday night as walking up thought i would have a shot in the surf off the pier casting towards seaburn beach. So here we go 3rd cast in me rod went mad so jumped up and grabbed it. I strared to reel in it was coming in nicely then i i thought oo s**t a snag with there being a big sea on i though let some slack off and guess wat it took off again I couldnt belive it so i started to reel again then it just stopped dead again so i started to pull it in by hand what a job it kept on coming but very very heavy. after pulling it in for a while of hard work finely got it close to the side then i seen a big silver flash in the water i started to buzz it was the biggest thing av hooked then it ran again nearly pullin me over me in with it so i grbbed on to it not lettin it get away. Wat next a SNAP!! me 25lb daiwa touderment line snaps and am gutted the one that got away LOL I think it might of been a bass. I had been there from 4.30pm until 10.30pm nothink else touching me line or me mates there was only a few kids catching undersize cooleys but it got me out the house for night. has anybody else had any luck at roker or the rat house lately thanks meatball1985
