Crimp pliers ?

    Don't use any of the crimp tools for electrical crimps as they will damage your line, they are set up to crimp to wire which is obviously more hard wearing than nylon.

    One nip in the middle of the crimp with a pair of long or round nose pliers is sufficient for nylon, don't try this on electrical connections though lol.
    People who live in glass houses have to answer the door.

      Fishing mark I have first hand knowledge of a fisherman who uses this method to crimp leads and swivels for pulley rigs with no problems and he cast's a good distance. .....he will be using them at the moment in Norway

          Yes no knot just crimped. ...bit like the lynx rigs but he been doing them alot longer lol

            I shouldn't have said "don't" use the electrical crimp pliers on nylon, I should have said from my experience "I wouldn't". If you want to use them go for it.
