just found a bag of frozen sprats back of freezer they are not much cop but rather than bin them has any of you lads got any ideas how i can pre prepare them for winter bait, thanks.

Depending on size a full one on a pennell is good for bigger whiteys, never had much luck with them for cod. -

They sell sprat in Morrisons for cheap prices. Often thought should i get some for boat fishing but i think they are to soft and will fall apart. Maybe ok from the beach or pier if using a de-vice?.

I remember me and phil185 used them a couple of years ago on big beach. caught plenty of coalies and flatties on them. Just whipped them on with a bit of bait elastic.Drowning worms since 2007.Comment
