I did exactly the same thing, hadn't realised they weren't in at first - pack was under the parts diagram in the box - oops!

i tried all of the advice given,still the same a little lob and it was ok but soons i put a bit of force into the cast is nested up without fail.i emailed daiwa for some advice and they told me to return the reel and they would have a look at it.
I had a slight feeling that it could be the rod i was using(greys grx-s) so i came across another rod(conoflex nemesis +) and the reel on that rod runs like a dream,not 1 nest is 3 sessions so im a happy chappy now!!
I think it may be time to change the brakes to the small clear ones!!The only fish i want this year is a double figured cod!!!Comment
