leeda rods

Wondering what are the opinions are with the leeda icon rods im impressed with the ultra blank though i have not used one.is the quality sonic greys or better

better rods than sonik and the newer greys in my opinion although thier has been a few issues with guides mind i had no issues with mine and my rod got blown over in the rocks but no 2 rods fall over the same i suppose good quality spigots not like some of the issues with some other brands great value for money just do,nt carry a zziplex or century badge

leeda icon rods

I have the leeda icon match rod now, also used to have the leeda icon power.
for the price they are good value rods and do the job.
most tackle shops sold out when they first came on the market.
as stan said the rings could be better but you can always get them changed.
stan has just done a leeda rod up check it out mint workmanship.

I got the power november 2013 the week they came out ordered from a shop on ebay £135 free delivery the shops were £149.99 so a bargain.
I have a brand new century ss and have probably used it 3 times as the icon comes to the cliffs and performs flawless I love it.
A week after I got the power I got the match which is also excellent lifted a 5lb up the pier no problem.
The power and ultra power have exact same tip no difference at all except the colour of the whipping power white ultra blue the power has a slightly stiffer butt section and to be honest the power will pull the plug out the sea
Moonfleet had them up for £125 not sure if any in but give them a try.

just bought one, M series power, casts like a dream great rods for the money, Mainwarings in Glamorgan are selling them for £128.25, I've spoken to a few dealers and they are saying everyone is buying them cos they are built on such a good blank, only negative for me is that they come with coasters but abu reel seats are only £7.50 on e bay.

ive been using the icon ultra power mark 1 for over a year now, gotta say its spot on for mixed through to the heaviest of ground, easy to use, not scaffold pole like, i dont think you will get better for the price.

leedaicon M sport match

can not fault the leeda M power match spot on for me ,changed the coasters as I don't like coaster over to a ABU reel lock.
also did have the leeda M sport power.
tend to take the leeda match with me on most outings and leave the zipplex SST at home
