  • Advice please

Just returned to shore fishing after a 12 year lay off so a little rusty !!. I have booked this coming Friday off work and my mate and myself are looking for an easy Pier type mark to break us back in gently. I live in Rotherham but travel is not a problem. looking to fish all day friday and through the night if possible. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated...thanks....Andy..

Hi mate you could try South Shields fishing into the Tyne, its behind the houses called Harbour View, lovely flat prom railed all along nice and quiet and its lit up all night,me and my mate bluepied2280 have had some good sessions there even when a seal took his fish and took off under the little jetty, snapped him eventually.hope this a help.

Breakwater is fine, its the harbour lights you have to be aware of when casting out we have seen a few smashed with sinkers.
