      Crab shelters

Just an update the case was up before the magistrates yesterday, the case has been adjourned again after we told the court of the national importance of the case and all the circumstantial evidence we have amassed from all around the country.

Andy Rutherford was gathering signatures in his shop regarding this. Hope the courts see sense obout this.
Just as a matter of interest, The set of crab traps further down from where this lad was going to put his happen to belong to a local copper. Coincidence, I think not.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but P*****g everyone off is a piece of cake.

High Davy, yes that was what the Old English Nature called digging for worms, obviously trying to make bait digging as nasty as possible with the word "molesting" have still heard it over the years, but not yet from the reformed EN since they became Natural England (NE) same initials but backwards, a leopard never changes its spots.

who are these sad people, don't they know if they just open their eyes they really do have a life and sometimes it can be FUN . don't they realise that a lug worm is one step above the evolutionary scale of a breeze block, we are not talking siberian tigers or silver back gorillars here. as for the sheltered accomadation for crabs , what next social workers checking up on their benifit entitlments, the mind boggles.

the reason is quite simple, legally a trap stops whatever you are trying to catch from escaping, a shelter lets an animal come and go when they want, which is exactly what a tyre does, a crab can come and go as it wants.

If we use the word trap as happed recently in a nearby SFC district they try and licence it. It does not fish or trap so they have to try another route, these are the type of things that AT or another organization needs to fight on the behalf of sea anglers but that is in ruins now (my opinion) after Stewart Mc Pherson resigned as head of the AT Marine division. What next a full risk assessment of your knots prior to casting.
