Do you mean the thin stretch of beach in front of the car park where everyone eats their chips and the boy racers hang out?...don't know know what it's exact name is but you can catch Flatties, Eels, Coalies, Codling, Whiting etc etc

Any beach will produce codling if the conditions are right
    Ooh a new vid!

If thats where you mean it looks a nightmare to fish.
Been there at low water and seem a few crab traps, lots of rubbish, shopping trolleys and all that.
      Not somewhere i would fancy

There are a few snaggy spots (with the tyres) but in general I'd class it as a clean venue...lost minimal gear there in all the times I've fished it

think you mean the middens beach, as for the other question all of the beaches north of the tyne in the right conditions, with whitley tynemouth and blyth being popular, hope that helps

No tackle loss on this beach mate, not in my casting range anyway. Like Tony says there are a few fish to catch down there.

If you stick to the middle bit, directly in front of the car park,it's cleanish ground oout to about 120yds from the top of the beach.Tnhere are some nasty kelpy rock right and left and four or five lines of tyres. No idea what the tyres are there for,no sign of boat moorings....anyone know the answer?

That look very clean compared to the time i was parked up and munching on some chips in the middle of the summer.
It was a real mess then

The Tyres are Crab Traps, or should it be "shelters"
