been given a daiwa moonraker supreme beach caster which needs to be re/rung was wondering if anyone uses one & if it was worth getting it repaired

My first proper beachcaster was a moonraker, there are much better rods on the market now. Not bad rods though, wont do any harm to get it re-rung.

Depends on how much it's going to cost you to re-ring it - price it up but keep in mind that they can be found fairly cheap around the 2nd hand places/carboot sales. Cheapest way will be for you to do it yourself, takes a bit of practice and you might not get a brilliant finish but it'd then make for a cheap spare rod.

Contact "JORDY" on this site, he builds a good rod.

for anew set of eyes plus the cost ov getting them wipped would cost you more than wot the rod is actually worth,my first rod was a moonraker and cost about 50 quid.this was about 20 yrs ago,not sure about the supreme model, dont know if this is a more recent model.i would check out its actually worth b4 getting it rerung
