Got stood down for the weekend Thursday night so i thought id make the 194 miles trip back home and go fishing for the first time since may!
Got packed up and ready to go by 11.20 and was planning to go to hartlepool but as ive never fished saltburn before decided to go there. Got there and the tide still wasnt at the end of the pier so got me some fish and chips and sat in the car waiting. Got to about 12:20 and decided to go on the end of the pier and get on with the job. After being setup and cast out using frozen black tipped with mackerel. Wind and sea were pulling me round to the right and there must have been a hell of alot of weed as each time i reeled in my line was covered. I caught approx 13 seaweed fish, no normal fish! and even the crabs didnt want to know! Took some pictures and a small video which ill upload to youtube.
