Just shipped out the longbeach and daiwa 129pm replaced by Sonik SK4 and Standard Carbon Metal.

The SK4 works like a dream and casts an absolute mile, also very light light. Carbon Metal is perfect for what I want...
    PB Boat Ling 24lb
    PB Cod Boat 17lb
    PB Cod Shore 11lb
    PB Boat Pollack 9.5lb
    PB Mackies 1,000,000

I'd vouch for the SK4. Handles the rough stuff but very sensitive also with smaller stuff, can see and feel the bites.

the sk4 is a cracking rod.

i have fished many rough ground marks with it and its very good.

i has a very sensitive tip, yet can pull fish through weed and it casts really well.

i have a conoflex enigma NRG that i use for really rough stuff, its like a broom shank and could pull the plug out of the sea.
but since i got the sonik SK4, i havnt used the conoflex once.

im going to get myself another one ;D

        slim and light to hold.

I emptied my 525 mag full of 20lb line on the SK4 with a longish drop on a pendulum. It was amazing but you have to time it right. Also very light in comparison to a century pole.

Hit just as far with the primo synchro but that is alot more forgiving.
