Well this may seem biased, but as im from Seaham myself i would say seaham, its been really picking up of late and ive dusted off my shore tackle and was thinking of using up some frozen crab and squid ive had in the freezer for some months now.....The beaches at Seaham are starting to throw up a selection of species but predominantly whiting around dusk,If you decide to visit seaham letme know i have a good spot which is fairly remote where i had some good catches last year ive not yet visited this year but im very hopefull as it still has a reasonable depth at low water andis a good place to fish when there is a good sea rolling as the water depth prevents breakers also its sheltered from the elements......
