Don't be frightened to use big hooks and big baits. Cod have HUGE mouths.To get away from dragons and catch monsters.

I will be doing your sort of method sean, 2/0s sep and size up month onwards etc, just cant imagine 10/0 but i see were the pair are yous are going on this bigger hooks bigger fish and sean i always use big baits

I would never advocate using 10/0s from the shore though

This winter season is gonna be interesting for me, trying new hooks & better marks + diff rig setups and me new headlamp n all in 1 suit.
