Waders advice

Rite am gonna getmeself sum chest waders(neoprene) just wantin a bit of advice/help as have never bought waders before,

am size 11 so do i go for size 11s or would a go for size 12 for extra pair of socks etc?

and am not lookin to spend a fortune round £50- 60, seen some ron thompson and daiwa 1ns that look canny any idea if there any good cheers

The Ron Thompson ones are alright, buy your normal size as even with extra socks you can still fit in them no bother. Worth their weight in gold in the winter when it's freezing cold. Make sure you just wear joggy bottoms underneath though, you'll sweat like hell when walking.

Ive got the Greys ones and theyre a snug fit, but that said when your my shape theyre all a snug fit! Had the Diawa ones aswell, a bit more forgiving around the sixpack! I did find the Diawa ones had a sturdier boot though

got some ron thompson ones of a prize table first time i used them wet feet dont know if it was manufacturing fault or some one swapped a dud pair in the prize table.

Cheers lads, think al go for mustad 1ns where round £80 now reduced and got decent detachable pouch/pocket which would be handy

bought pair of mustad ones 4 digging in,they lasted about 4 month b4 they were knacked.ive had a pair of ocean chesties 4 about 5 yearand still going strong,not neoprene though but good set of waders 4 about 65 quid.

Had a pair of the ron thompson ones a while back had no problem with them.Tried the greys neoprene too not too keen on them though.

I have the Ron Thompson 1's and I'd say there a big fit. I'm a size 10 shoe and have size 10 waders but they feel more like a size 11 - 12.
I got mine from Go Outdoors and they were only £39 so ya can't grumble at that price!

have read a few bad reports bout mustad 1ns now, and rt seem to be pretty popular so might go for them can pick them up off ebay for round 40
