Only one caught on Roker this morning. Fished for nearly 6 hours and the guy next to me had 1 mackeral and I had 1 bass (2lb)and 1 coalie which was undersize.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but P*****g everyone off is a piece of cake.

Finding it hard ont he boat as well, only been the last two trips out that i have hit a large shoal..thank god as needed to freeze a few down for the winter fishing.

The water is very dirty and has not cleared up much this year, the lack of sprats and the tell tail signs of the jelly fish have just not shown this year in any numbers.

Still time 6 weeks of it yet.

Hit the bass by sheer luck. Took a single spinner as soon as it hit the water. When I gutted the thing, it's gut was totaly empty.

Was fishing at the round end. Casting striaght out about 60 - 80 yards.
Tried using daylights for the first hour and got nothing so swithched to a small spinning rod and a single spinner. First cast got the bass and about three casts later I got the coalie. Then nothing.
