Hi Bri,i had a good session there a couple of years ago,i had a couple of nice Cod plus lots of undersized fish, you can also get Bass from here as well,I think it fishes best on a small tide with a south easterly wind with a bit of sea running, the fish come in between the Rocky island and the shore to feed, saying that my mate fishes the tide down there as well again on a small tide and often gets a few,I suppose it would fish on most wind directions as the rocks would act as a shelter.I came down the spine road today and there still seems to be a decent surf at the back of Cambois, its worth a try Bri.

we tried up by the wansbeck last night ,canny surf but we ended up fishing shallow water ,not much cop, ended up going down to blyth beach, bloke 10 ft away bagged 3 we didnt get a nut ,gonna try rag next week ,best thing is to go up at low tide and pick out the deep spots alan, its very hit and miss up there at the best of times,i reckon another couple of weeks and the rocks will be heaving
      cheers Bri
