  • The bike hub

Just been on the locker, and someone was mentioning fishing from your car at the bike hub, anyone on here tried it? anything sizeable come out? ie, is there anything worth keeping for the table?

I only live a couple of miles from there and it's somewhere I never thought of. Looks ideal to take the bairn since it looks like I can just park up the car and chuck a line over the railings!

Any advice from anyone who has fished there?

    Cheers

Never fished but seen plenty who do. Looks ideal with nice café at Hub nearby. Free parking and can fish from the back of your motor. I use café when out on Mountain Bike.

Cheers Mick, its somewhere I had never thought of - just have to see if you can get anything for the table from there - the bairn isn't a fan of putting fish back that he catches! lol

Never tried flounder - so is it just the ones from there that are manky or flounder in general?

I've never been down that area for ages, I'm sure I've worked in that building before. Did it used to be a boat or sailing club?

Thats what I was wondering - I am sure I took my son to a party there about 3 or 4 years ago, and it was the sailing club. (unless I am thinking of somewhere else near by)
