  • whitley comp etc

never fished a comp before so how does it work? i imagine the anglers are streched out from point A to point B so how is the result sorted ,weigh in etc ,do the fish have to be taken to a weigh point or is the angler relied on for honesty ?
    cheers Bri

you have to register before or on the day of the comp
there will be a boundary ie Tynemouth to Amble and sometimes excludes rivers or piers. There is a set time ie 10.00 to 14.00 and probably a weigh in at say 15.00,theres normally cash prizes for heavist bag, heavist single fish, team, juniors and ladies, the lower order normally receive gifts donated by dealers or sponsors.
