Hiya Lads.
Took my mam up to a cottage in Beadnell she rented for a weeks break, thought Id take my spinning gear to see if there was the odd mack about, didnt hold out much hope. Fished the back of the Lime Kilns, same spot I got the 6lb 6 oz pollock in july, (see posttitled\" 6lb 6oz Pollock for Paulie Boy\")Nowt for the first twenty mins, Tide was just on the ebb, and I took the first Mack, In the next hour I took 5 Mackies, 7 coalies to about a pound, 7 pollock between 1/ 1 anhalf pound, one about 2 pound and a cracker just over 5 pound.all on a spinner, See Pic... ( when TC posts it, ive emailed him it, Ive read how to but cant suss it)Kept the Macks and the big Pollock, returned the rest.
Anyway, probably the best hours fishing Ive ever had. Got darkish so I left, returned 7am for next tide, and got nowt. just the way it Is I guess,
so next time someone says to me..yu should have been here last night, I can say I bloody was!!
