ive seen 2 storys so far, but ive seen more storys of someone getting smashed with a flying lead, treat it with respect and people should be fine, when the video is aimed at the beginners we always say it in the video, just like tonight we are out doing a night fishing guide for beginners,,,

im glad u lads are enjoying the video some mint videos coming next year, and a cracking one coming before xmas on how strong are the home made fastlinks vs breakaway ones the results are mind blowing

Another good video mate. Why are people obsessed with the rods being so pokey though ? M427 SU tip and zeteque butts not enough, it has to be 'beefed' up as well
      Regards Nicky.

same hear mate, i like a nice soft tip rod, the rod we have just tested would never register a small whitey bite, i thought i rt tip was strong

Thanks for your reply Steven mate. I'm gonna get some braid and give it a go. Where do you get your spectra from?
          All the gear, no idea.

Surely you are all getting carried away with this braid on a palm size multi,as stepie says down on distance spectra braid at 60lb is like tow rope.its going to catch tide ,it will catch the wind even more so when off the cliffs.the whole point of switching to braid is coming down on dia and getting a good breaking strain which in turn gives you the benefit of switching to the braid.

Thanks reg. I don't mind the wait if it'll save me a few quid. I'll have a look now.

How am I getting carried away? I use braid on my surfblaster and spinning reels and it works lovely. I've never tried it on a multi and want to give it a go. And your still getting an increase over bs and dia.

braid is a touchy subject at the moment as a few lads are now using it on there casting reels, but be safe and dont over do it we should all be fine.

the drone is our mates johns we have a good few fishing videos planned with it and im trying to convince him to allow us to attach a rig on it and fly it out 800 yrds and drop the bait off lol what a video that would be ...
Did you see my thread this week in the chat section 'short caster?' I knew it wouldn't be long before someone 'droned' there bait half a mile!
Sounds awesome mate, hope you can get it done - the other video topics you mention sound brilliant also.
Should be some more great videos coming by your comments there.

I think himself26 is spot on with his comment on novice using braid on a multi.

Ive followed on your thread by mistake iam quite a we're of the avantages of braid on a fixed spool ive been using it for along while now,as for spectra bs/dia you'll be up with 25lb mono in the .40/.45 range don't be fooled into spectras dia quotes.i prefer whiplash 50lb/65lb i don't go by the qoute of .17/.21 i go by the feel on the dia, alot of people like the power pro,ive also got this the profile is totally different to whiplash and feels different on dia,and before anyone goes on about using mic/vernier i have but you can't get a true reading.

I've used this stuff quite a bit and can honestly say that's it's decent gear. Slightly thicker than the genuine stuff but who cares for £4.80.
