megmoss, if you go to Blyth pier now you will see them, as Lee says they are there every year for a few weeks.

I must admit, he is not tying off on the pier, so at the end of the day he is well within his rights to do as he is doing, he is not breaking any laws, I know he is shooting his nets very close to the pier, but he also might be thinking, look at all those on the pier trying for macky, when at most time's there is only the odd angler having a bash, (it's a case of 6 of 1 & half a dozen of the other !! )
