    Looking to buy a new winter rod this week was thinking of a komp s or ss what would ppl say is the best and is there any going for sale tightlines

    I fish rough ground mostly and use a tts and m427 great rods and well up to the job m8

        I've just bought a new tts and it's superb. I originally wanted the Komp s but am pleased I changed to the TT but it's all personal preference.

          bought both rods on here m427 was £230 and the tts was £160 both bargains if you have the cash I would go for zippy great bit of kit

                    Had a couple of mk1 wr300 in the past and quite liked them.Used them in the river and found bite detection fine not a bad rod.

                        If your after an all rounder I'd go for the TTS. I use mine on beaches and off the cliffs and anywhere in between. Don't know what the zippy is like but you'll save a few quid going for the TT.
                        All the gear, no idea.
