  • Killed two birds with one stone.

Today lads thought I would kill two birds with one stone. Go for a cycle ride and check out some fishing spots along the Tyne. Parked my motor up at British Airways then cycled down to the Hub café for a sandwich. Saw few anglers fishing at Copthorne.Nowt much doing here. After a sarnie I cycled back up to the Millenium bridge and crossed over to Gateshead side, Cycled down the path to Hebburn. Had a good recce around here as never really looked at spots. Short ride down to Jarrow and then the pedestrian tunnel. On the Newcastle side cycled back up and saw International Paints, Then St Peters Basin. Ended up back at the motor after a few hour. Was good to get out and make a note of some of the good spots. Spoke to quite a few anglers as well. St Peters looks nice fishing spot.
    Mick.

Alright Simon nice speaking to you mate. I cycled up to the next fishing spot and spoke to some lads there-looked very comfortable fishing. Never really thought about river marks as I am originally from Hartlepool and always thought sea fishing was for the open sea.

You're right Mick sea fishing is for the sea but I'd wager a few quid on a gaggle of the Dark Side around Hebburn on Saturday night lol
