Iam looking for a pair of \"hot comfortable boots must be waterproof !\"
I\'m thinking of getting a pair of Sundridge Hot Foot Boots,reasonable price and good reviews. Yes Or No,
Any help or recommendations welcome,thanks

Still love me german para boots. stand over ankle deep in water, dry as a board. Good on the slippy stuff, warm as toast and comfy as owt. Mine are now 10 year old. occasional coat of dubbin and thats it. best 15 quid I ever spent.

As a comparison I had a pair of berghaus mountain boots, 115 quid, looked the biz but lasted only a year

It pays to shop (look)around in places you wouldn\'t normally think of.

I got these derri boots last year from The X Catalogue Shop.......100% waterproof, VERY warm and with the addition of a pair of thermal insoles, VERY comfy to wear.........cost........£10:00

A word of warning, some boots in the higher price range are absolutely rubbish on wet rock and weed, most probably struggle a bit. I\'ve had £180 climbing boots with vibram soles go all Torvil & Dean on me. A pair of posh-ish Columbia wild man boots had the same effect on the weekend. My grippiest soles are the cheap and nasty plakka remoulds on my Snowbee Chesties. It\'s a shame you can\'t try before you buy, failing that harken to the lads.

Reportedly, the oldest man in Britain is a fella called Jack Davis (107) who lives in Buckinghamshire. To the best of my knowledge, he doesn\'t wear vibram soled boots when walking over wet rocks.........lesson to be learned, there, possibly.........lol

the berghaus boots never went near the sea, used em as intended, climbing mountains. absolute pants.

strange synchronicity but chris bonnington is a technical director at berghaus. get paid loads of money for looking hairy. I reckon that its a caviat in his contract - the famous hidden beard clause.

that said I\'ve seen a few nice hidden beards over the years, shame some of em have gone to brazil
