  • Its Happened Again

Just heard on the radio that 2 fishermen have been drowned in Cornwall - one of the 2 shore anglers got into trouble and the other went in to save him and both drowned. The radio interviewed a lifeguard at the scene who could not rescue either of the men as they were near the rocks and he deemed it unsafe for him to enter the water. Should imagine with this westerly the atlantic was well up.

As it has been said before a few fish or sport is not enough to loose your life over. BE SAFE GUYS AND GIRLS.

RIP to the guys who drowned and condolences to the families.
give a man a fish and feed him for a day - teach the man to fish and feed him for life!!!!

I heard that on Century radio Jason, the older bloke (68 i think) entered the water to retrieve a rod, then his son in law tried to save him - very sad, but i have to say, also very silly!
    Cheers, Keith.

It\'s easy to just say \"sympathies & condolences to the family\", but what else can you say......I\'m always stuck for words when something like this happens, I suppose we all are.

Is it just me, or does this seem to be happening much more frequently

As Alan says.....\"let\'s all be careful\"........I don\'t wanna have to read or hear about ANYBODY from here getting into the news due to similar circumstances

You can watch the TV news report here.......by clicking on \"video - BBC spotlight\"

I believe fishing/angling is the most dangerous sport/hobby,its suppose to have the most reported accidents,I read this a couple of years ago in a mag,i don\'t think it has changed.
            Cheers Alan...
