      Ian,

Give Kevin a ring at 01702 617764 (Southend Bait and Tackle Centre)

      http://www.bandtc.co.uk

From my experience their prices and quality are good. However, I\'ve only done collection from the shop, with next day postage costs added on, you might want to share an order with others to offset the additional costs.

Might be a bit too far to drive, but the beach at portuairk and Kilchoan on the west coast of scotland has quite a few, in between the garth sized lug. Driving 8 to 10 hours might make it uneconomical though.

how long will it keep and whats the best way of storing the wriggly bleeders?? I\'m going up in october so will probably get me bucket and spade out. Theres king rag there too by all aco****s.

Ell there are beaches alot closer to home to dig for whites
Best way to keep them is in a shallow tray with some coral sand and a small amount of FRESH SEA WATER,also keep a bottle of sea water in the same fridge ,so when you change the water (which you will have to) the worms go back in the same temprature of water.

Hi again Ell ,remember me from the mid week boat trip a while back ,anyway, we fished Sugar Sands a while back and while waiting for a bite I had a bit of a dig and turned up a few white rag as well as finding peelers in the rocks when I got really bored. Just a daft chuck or two in the summer months really, after we\'d been to the doctors house and I only managed a granny fish.No pollock to be seen that day ,I reckon it was too lumpy.
You can take the lad out of Walker but .......
