Well it was a great afternoon lots of sunshine
but no fish not even a crab and my son
was most upset but i soon got a smile on
his face when we stopped a mac D's on the
way home for some fish fingers and a toy
      so all was not lost.

As a kid my best catch from blyth harbour was a 2.5lb coalfish using a king rag fished with a float just flicked off the side with the bail arm off and left to drift- definitely a good technique for kids IMHO- that was 23 yrs ago mind you
