I read somewhere that it was going to be mid December and that is probably right as it looks like the deck is nearly finished. But i wouldnt hold your breath with big tides and SE winds like today it would be locked again anyways

well lads i,m non the wiser after reading replies,fish for 2014 whiting,codling,flattie,coalie,chub,perch,,trout,g rayling,seatrout,barbel roach and salmon .......let it go it will grow biggerComment

The Council have just advertised a tender for a refurb of the lighthouse and tunnel inside the pier. Works are planned for 2015. Not sure if the affects deck access to the public, possibly not?North East Surfcasting AssociationComment
