    Just got 1 of the above brand new got a lesson on how to use it off a fishermans locker member Chris Worzil Gummidgetried it for the 1st time in the conservatory lol
    Before and after

          Watch out for paraffin on ya fingers the catch rate will be reduced

            had one of these when they first came out got it from temples whitley bay first out long time back . it went up burnt front my hat and had know eye brows for two weeks I was very lucky at the time falling back over onto my arse.
            took it back to the shop next day he said he would have to try it out first, could I go back in 1 hour,on my return he gave me a full refund.he said it went up in the back of the shop defo a faulty one . my next lamp was a tilley

              The problem with paraffin lamps is trying to get them on before the tube that carries the paraffin to the mantle is not hot enough thus pure paraffin and not gas

                Soon rust tho,give e'm a spray with wd after use,helps to keep them right
                Had them yrs ago,seriously bright mind,just keep them well pumped up,use to keep the old pressure gauge well up,right into the red,can still hear the hissing now

                    I reckon it looked better on the fireplace mick.

                    Nice lamp that mate. What's it like compared to a Coleman petrol one.

                      There a lot brighter than the coleman,think supposed to be 500cp,like I say tho big corrosion problem,just need a lot of tlc
                      Get them hung up on a lamp stand around 5/6ft in the air,lights the beach up bigtime,never mind cree's burning your retina's out
