    Hi lads,anyone using one of the above?any thoughts on them....out and out rock or more allrounder,cheers.

        You could use it they have decent bite detection but would be hard work.

          got a tournment match grand prix coming this week from ollies baits in whitley bay £335 way cheapest av seen new any were spoke to Julian who owns awaf and he says its stiffer in the but but a bit lighter in the tip but its no excaliber tt will let you know what there like when it comes

            Thanks for the replies lads.May look into one for the future but just ordered the tourney match mk2 as looks like that'll be better for what i need it for for now,cheers again.

              Did you get the chance to use the rod Paul?any thoughts on it.....how you finding the reel seat that comes supplied with it,cheers.

                grand prix

                Ive had one for a couple o months and think they are a lovely rod ideal all rounder for this area.They are powerful but have a nice tip for bite detection.Since i got mine me zippies have stayed in the garage..........

                  Sounds good bri.How do you find the reel seat?i have'nt had the chance yet to use the tourney match so not sure on the seat.May just swap it over for other fuji one.

                    No probs with reel seat mate i think they are a black fuji fitting i have fixed it where i want it though.

                      Cheers bri,tried rod yesterday reel seat is spot on.Thought i may have needed to modify it with a coaster but was steady as a rock as it was.
