im floundering
quite a debate that chaps.. im glad i didnt photo the other fish i caught last night. i think it was a lumpsucker stuck to me squid bait. orrible slimey thing it was with slits for a gob.
as far as the flatty is concerned i think there is still some confusion there. my first thoughts when i caught where it was a flounder but just enough element of doubt to put it to the forum and see what you chaps make of it. some good crack there

It's definately a flounder. Easiest way to spot a dab is to check the lateral line, it takes a D shaped curve behind the pectoral fin.
