    this tiddler, only nine feet long was found at seaham yesterday

    i wonder has this anything to do with cold winter we have had, just a thought
    did you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?

      That one looks very fresh, bet that was not dead more than 6hrs when that pic was taken.

      They must be good at keeping out the nets if the trawlers dont get any, wonder if they take a pirk

        Wierd looking fish. Wonder why there has been a spate of them getting washed up.
        It's a thin line that seperates an Angler from a madman standing on the beach in january at midnight in -5 degrees with a northerly wind blowing in your face

          it was actually alive when found and put back in never to be sen again, well until it comes out of the water somewhere to die

                  think they are the same ones Dave, I was told monday, unless there was another one on Sunday, all info appreciated. Have been sent some interesting info on them, just waiting for permission to use it.

                    It's called a ribbon fish there has been a few washed up on local beaches lately they live in very deep water and apparently come ashore to die but who knows
