Hi im new to NESA and i am realy into fishing sports. I was wondering if you knew where there are any good fishing spots ?

Hello jake welcome to NESA. Good fishing spots in blyth? well i suppose in blyth your best chance would be off the pier although you can get a few good fish off the beach at the right time of year.

Welcome aboard mate. I know plenty of good fishing spots - unfortunately though the fish seem to have other ideas at the moment!

This time of year is always a bit slow though, but as above Blyth pier might be a shot for flatties. I've had a fair few there over the last few weeks, but they've all been pretty small, so I'd go with some very light gear to have a bit of fun.

everyone ,well i mean most summer etc clubs will be hitting the rivers soon for flattys to boost there points up and others will be heading up to west coast and scotland for a break from the lack of fish carry on ,but crab baits will be on the fish menu soon so lets hope we have some cracking catches

jake, just seen the post about Blyth as a suggestion, i used to go there from cullercoats on my bike.
