After some advice as to where to go for the weekend fishing anywhere between lynemouth and seahouses tempted by craster or whitehouse sands at amble. as a fallback we can go to cresswell and fish the full weekend there. really looking for somewhere different to the tyne and wear area and we dont mind travelling if it is fishing well and we have somewhere close by we can pitch a tent. Thanks in advance for any advice.

If it's mainly cod you're after then Lynemouth, Newbiggin, Cresswell, Amble, Boulmer, Howick, Craster, Beadnell and Seahouses are all worth a shot. If you plan on pitching the tent at a campsite then there are some at Beadnell and Seahouses.
