By the way we are stopping on the Clash on our trip in july, last time we stayed in Port Patrick but this time wanted to be a bit more central. Any info on bass marks would be great, I've heard Trevaly point is worth a chuck in the right conditions.
When in July??? We should be in our van on the Clash site for most of it.Will take you out bassing if you want.I just lure fish for them using spinning gear.Prefer to use poppers when the conditions are right.Started experimenting with Storm sandeels and bubble/controller floats last year and winkled a few out.

Going up for a few days in the last week in july going to try as many marks as we can, weather permitting. Keen to get some good pollack on the float and would love to get a tope off the shore and some bass would be nice, not asking for much eh! We had some good pollack up at the yellow isle at portpatrick last june so want to go back there, also have you tryed that lighthouse mark on the west side.

Hopefully will be banging in catch reports here come May.I know it is strictly not NE coast fishing but due to the the interest in the MOG angling amongst the members on here I am sure the mods will not object

John, if you have a read through the catch reports you will see that they are from all over the world. It wouldn't be the first time we have had reports from Australia mate
