new model asin slightly remodelled ....
asfor 20/30 thats just size of spool

From what i understand the SL20SHa
Has a better spool action and a bigger "power" handle
its like a ford escort same reel just update on tech
Species: Cod, Bass, Coalie, Flounder, Dab, Rockling, Mackerel, Plaice, Pollock, Ballen Wrasse, L/S Scorpion, Common Blenny, Weaver (unfortunately), Whiting, Common Eel, Trout, Pike... think that's it

The older slosh 'sh' version spool spindles go through the pinion gear and into the end cap, whereas the sh-v or sh-a spool spindles end at the drive side bearing, thus eliminating any friction caused by the spindle not running inside the pinion gear, supposed to make for a faster spool and further casting distance

No no no. It's not a new slosh it is an old one and the shaft go's
all the way into the pinion to the end cap. If you put a slosh next
to my slosh-A there is no diff in the 2 reels BUT if you then look
at them from the clicker side you see that one has SL20SH and
            the other has SL20SH-A

Why not take them both with you next time you go to a tackle shop and ask in there mate, It can't do any harm. If they don't know then no one will lol.

I'd go with this explanation, especially if it was bought used, maybe a new side plate was needed and the origional type wasn't available
