    I would just like to tell you about the excellent service i have had from Shakespeare. Two years ago i bought a four piece spinning rod to take on my holidays. I used it three time the first year, once last year. Unfortunately, the first time i used it this year the bottom section exploded. They aske me to return it for inspection, as they no longer made this model by almost return of post i recieved the newer version, although their was only one years warranty on the rod. Thanks Shakespeare

    Yep...credit where it\'s due, Alan.......you can\'t fault THAT level of service

      It sounds like Daiwa could learn a lesson from them!

        My work mate snapped his Abu boat rod last year when we were out from Seahouses,he was really annoyed as it was brand new,thing is he bought it secondhand off a lad that did\'nt like it ,it had only been used once and was litterally a few months old,lad had no receipt ! So he contacted Abu,no problem,just post it to us and we\'ll replace it,he twisted his face about the postage as well,the result was he got the rod back in two weeks and gave him a better model for his troubles, think it cost him £8 post.He was well chuffed.
