  • Castle Rocks Saturday?

Can anybody give me the gen on the castle rocks at Tynemouth?
Never fished it before but was gonna give it a chuck on sat night.
Id there anywhere in particular I need to be or can I just chuck it in and hope for the best (my standard plan)?

Also, how easy is it to get cut off?

Any help would be much appreciated.

if you come in from the king eddys beach just follow the skeer all the way down to scotia at the end casting into the bay as you go down,or you can come in from the Tynemouth pier at the gates there is a set of steps leading down to the rock ends fish the concrete pipe casting 11 o clock and as tide drops walk about 100yds fishin the gullys, heavy ground and some good fish caught lately you can fish 3hrs either side of low water. davy.
