      Agree with pighunter mate,if you want a sml reel for distance fishing with light lines n may be weed or bigfish,the 515's n fathom 12's are ideal,I used me 7ht mag with .32mm fl in the summer when the hounds were at range(better fish)but picking up weed an a good smut,trying to wind that lot in from 130/140 yrds wasn't fun,the reel just struggled,so switched over to the 515 with .35mm n it was happy day's winching in hounds n weed lol,as soon as I switched reels it was a big improvement....

            You're spot on mate, I noticed that when I did a bit more research on it. Typical of Abu these days to skimp on something like that. The whole thing looks a bit cheap on closer inspection and are those end float caps plastic? hope they are black anodised metal.
