      Yer i remember that rubbish, if that was caught on rod and line then they must have left it in the sun far about 3 days..seen a colour pic of that fish and it had been dead a long time....no where near as fresh as the latest one on Tynemouth.

      Do the trawlers never report catching any? if this many being washed up i am sure a few must be caught in the nets off our coast

          Also in that first story, she thought the bite was just another Mackerel (In February) yet at the end she says all she wanted to do was catch a cod I bet they just found it washed up.
          Drowning worms since 2007.

              I have never heard of any being taken in a net, fixed or trawled, would have thought if one was taken it would be in the news.
