best sesh i ever had mick was on the steetly in the middle of may , south easterly blowing nice run on the sea nothing to heavy me and my mate had 4 rods out, got nothing for the first two hours not even a knock, then just as the tide went on the ebb one of the rods went down with[ a ]typical cod bite' within 30 seconds we had a cod on every rod i was trying to hold on to 3 rods while my mate was trying to reel in his first cod and then tried to handball it up ,still holding on to the other three rods it went on like that for about one hour i got 13 fish, best 7lbs my mate got more with a p.b of 8 and a half lbs oh happy days.

I have no doubt there will be a couple more decent fish but that's it for my season now. I'm off to Portpatrick in the summer and then nowt till next season. Tight lines lads.

Have been saying the same to Phil after last week, going to save the bait and fuel money and buy some decent gear for fishing the Mull and St. Abbs in the summer. Might even have a trip to Wales or down Holderness way.
