heading down for the day friday, new venue for me and my pal and really looking forward to it. be fishing from around 10 til 5 unless weather see's us off first anywhere in particular worth a shot, low water is 12 bells. not after anything too specific you understand, don't need the where abouts of mark 'X' a general area and where to park (safely) will do ta. 'just one more question' (columbo), is it a long distance venue, we can just about manage the 'ton'. cheers in advance..................

park in the south car park , head north there are steps then a ramp on to the prom head south till you get to the steps going on to the beech that is the pit shot, dont need a massive cast.park in the north car park head to the northern end of the car park ,steps down to the beech .if you head north just past the caves is a canny mark or if you head south till you hit the end of the prom it is deep with fairly clean ground.if you head towards seaham harbour there is a big old peoples home on the right , park on the left and there is steps going down onto the prom ,when you are down head towards the big rock to the south this is the featherbed rock you can either fish from tis or to the north of it ,if you fish on it make sure you dont get cut of by the tide as it floods, hope this helps ,happy fishing m8.
