Hello all,
After a very poor Summer I, like many of my fellow anglers, looked forward to the winter.
About mid Septemberish, (is there such a word?) I began to feel unwell and after several trips back and forward to Doctors and Hospitals getting scanned, checked and cameras forced into places they should never have went, I was told to take things easy for a few months.
I'm much better now, "Malingering Hypochondria", I think the correct diagnosis was. I managed a few trips out but for the most part I got my fishing fix by reading this site and also the excellent Whitby sea anglers site.
But the point of my post is that I noticed a lot of petty arguments developing out of nothing realy, sometimes just a difference of opinion. I know that angling is a very passionate sport and emotions can run high at times but isn't it a shame when we can't all get on. I think we have enough people wanting to disrupt our sport (aricle 47 anyone!!) without us having a go at each other.
So my point is, lets all try and get on and lets have a bit more goodwill towards each other, we have a great website here at NESA and a great sport.
Please guys don't take offence at this post, it isn't meant like that, take care and tightlines for you all.
Ian.
