  • Picked up a Slosh20

Called in at Frasers in w/bay yesterday on a last minute whim to get some bait for a short session today, finally picked up the slosh 20 that I've been debating getting for a while now. Slightly embarrassed myself though - was asking why my 30 seems to over-run on casts quite often - I hadn't realised the things were sold without the brakes actually being fitted! oops! Guy popped the brakes into the 20 while we were talking and kindly knocked the 10% discount off aswell when I mentioned NESA. Had a couple of casts on the footy field with it last night, lovely and smooth.

Had planned on Collywell bay today using the 30 but think I'll head along to Sandy Bay area with the 20 instead for a proper try out.

Let us know how you think it compares with the 30 mate.

ecoli- I think it's because they have the price screwed right down on the 30's to be competetive

20 is loaded with 15lb line, casts lovely, very smooth and quiet, nice quick retrieve on it too.

I've got both the 20 and the 30 and in my humble opinion, for the money they cost, they are the best reels around.

i have a 20 and a 30 and love them to bits, best reels i have had.

20 is loaded with light line and the 30 with thicker stuff for the rough stuff.

love how they cast and how quick they can retrieve.

i had the same problem with the brakes when i got mine lol

I was really suprised at just how smooth they are mind, I'd had my Abu 6500 C3 since the early 90's and thought it was brilliant but the jump forward in quality is amazing.
