        camels hump

        Alright mate

The only camels hump i know of in this area is between cullercoats harbour and tynemouth beach, it's the bit thats above the arches of caves on the south side of cullercoats harbour, thats what we knew it as from being kids. Never seen or heard of anyone fishing from it.Theres a rocky island at the north end of tynemouth beach that used to have an outfall pipe to it,I've sometimes heard this called south crab hill or bears back, maybe thats what you're thinking of. Hope this helps

The Camel’s Hump is a tiny island about 20 yards off shore that shows at mid tide down.

            hope this helps.
