thanks to all those who sent me info last week and where hoping to get a mention for your good catches, unfortunately for some reason whoever edited the column, instead of taking the unimportant bits out at the end, took the good catches out the middle, below is the bits they edited out. I have brought this to the notice of the sports editor. If there is not much caught for next week might bung them in again

the few other anglers connecting are, Lee Smith had a good bag from the Bibles taking four cod for 18lb, best 7lb, John Leveson taking a nice cod of 11lb, Stewart Ford one of 6lb, both fishing Collywell, Micky Bell taking a cod of 7-1-0 from Hadston, with Mark Hanson a cod of 7lb from Camels Island.
Ger Kirby fished at Johnson’s to win Ryhopes match with a cod of 6.4lb, Geoff Moon taking one of 6-15-0 from Roker pier to win East End & Hendon’s sweepstake. Chris Hossack won Eastenders sweepstake from The High Ledge, with 3 cod and a rockling for 8-2-0, best 4-9-0.
