i get my tip light at a pound shop

they sell them to fit on your car tyre valves , 2 to a pack with batteries

theres a spring switch inside and after a little tweaking you can get them to stay off for wave action and go off when a fish bites

well if you can get the odd bite to show how sensitive it needs to be , mine all need setting up its been that long since i had a bite

most pound shops i would think, i used to get a pack of... 24 batteries for a pound (suprisingly), i got some rechargable's for me headlight but got the pack of batteries from there and keep them with me, dont last as long but you know you wont fish blind if your normal battteries run out lol

Hate to be a nay sayer but, thing about quid shop packs of batteries, have you used the AA and AAA batteries from a quid shop? they are complete and utter **** hold about the same amount of charge as a squeeze of lemon (that's when they don't melt and destroy whatever you had them in), the watch style batteries are no better, I had a propa pair of batteries in a tip light for months when they got a bit weak I replace with some quid shop batteries which at best lasted 2 or 3 short sessions per pair.

                              It's a false economy.
