I'm by no means an expert on craster but i've fished it a few times, if you follow the link at the bottom to my maps and look at marks 157 on wards there all around craster, sorry there not all named just anit got time at the mo, anyway you'll definatly need 'rotten bottoms', you can fish the harbour and anywhere from there to dunstinbough castle, look out for the gullys, if your fishing over low you can get onto the island, but be very carefull of the tide behind you!!!, south of the island there is a couple of good gullys, had fish out of both of them a couple of summers ago,. best baits, if your not a crab addict, fresh muscle worth tipping of with a couple of limpets of the rocks as well, but like i said use rotton bottoms its very kelpy. Oh and one more thing i was told its best not to fish it with a big sea on.

Going to have to get myself back up there soon, its a stunning part of our coast.
Happy to help, Keen to learn!

i used to fish of the the rocks to the south of craster, just next to the 2 big posh houses. park next to the kiddys playground then walk south, past the houses and through a gate, walk around the big gully and then fish to the south of the gully from the point.

im sure there is a big point further south as well, you can get acess to really deep water from it, is that culernose point??? been a while since i was up there. its snaggy so you will need rotten bottom rigs

        craster

i fish craster every weekend sorry like but cant tell you my favourite marks up there but there are a couple of others theres the park good cod mark just in the middle of the street just put your car on the grass and fish out the boot more or less the piers can be good but you can loose a lot of gear if you go over the wall on the south pier you are defo going to be snaged every cast or loose all your gear the other mark is the gate as you drive into craster instead of going into the village go left next to the north pier youll be able to see the castle straight in front of you walk towards the castle and youll come to the gate basically from there go straight down onto the rocks if u take plenty of squid lug sandeel and blueys youll be in for cod and dogfish
there is a massive hole out in the water its about 60 yard cast in the distance youll see the rocks straight out at see wif water breaking cast toward that your into fish hope this helps
