Hi All.
Just wondering if anyone else saw the letter in this weeks Whitley Bay News Guardian regarding plans by the government to impose an annual licence system for sea anglers !. The letter was from Charles Jardine and Mr. Jardine is the director for the campaign for angling, countryside alliance. He maintains that the government is proposing to introduce such a licence which will cost us twenty two quid each year. Mr. Jardine has raised some good points in his letter such as what,if any, benefits will be passed on to sea anglers if such a thing is made law and how will the licence scheme be enforced ? The letter makes good reading and if anyone would like to see a copy and cannot get hold of the Guardian, I will be happy to post a photocopy of the letter to whoever would like one.
Cheers.
