fished steetley today from1.30pm.fished of end to right hand side i was bye myself and another chap was fishing to my left.within 10 minutes off me being there i saw him pull a codling in between 4 to 5 pounds thought it was going to be a very productive day but not so.got loads nocks were all undersised flatties no whiting at all.there was about 8 lads on when i first went on and dwindled down to me and 2 others left at 6.45 no fish and sea was flat fished with wrag mussel and squid.gave my bait what i had left to the 2 lads remaining on pier.hope for change in wind direction to stir it up a bit then try again.

Yea hes a canny lad from seaton. His second rod is an ancient yellow thing-says hes not much cop at fishing but i know he is.
It a wonder you do not know Bob C he,s from Trimdon village. Another good angler and the only bloke i know who let a 14lb er go off the Heugh.
I would really love a boat but i just cannot afford one-so its a case of shore fishing in the winter-charter boats in the summer and also fly fishing.

I got some rag from Friarage off Charlie Sat-lovely stuff yet again-always shows me the worm before he wraps it up.
